Ethics and Transparency

IDI Farmaceutici srl adopts the provisions of the Code on Transparency of Value Transfers between pharmaceutical companies, healthcare professionals and healthcare organizations adopted in June 2013 by the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) and implemented in Italy within the Farmindustria Code of Ethics, which came into force in January 2015. The EFPIA Code is a self-regulatory code that requires the publication of all Value Transfers made by companies to healthcare professionals and healthcare organizations with whom a collaborative relationship is established for scientific consultancy activities, participation in conferences and congresses, charitable donations or clinical research projects.
By June 30 of each year, IDI Farmaceutici publishes on this site the Value Transfers made in the context of RELATIONSHIPS WITH HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS (HCPs) AND HEALTHCARE ORGANIZATIONS (HCOs). The collaboration between companies and physicians, which has been regulated for some time, is based on respect for roles within the context of a transparent framework of ethical rules.
The exchange of knowledge and experience allows the collection of information necessary for the development of new drugs that are increasingly useful and primarily oriented toward patient health.
